Good Citizen Scholarship Contest Winner Announced

​National Society National Daughters of the American Revolution Liberty Bell of the West Chapter just announced it's Good Citizens Essay Scholarship Contest Winner. Students from eight of the counties high schools were invited and hosted in Sparta.
The winner of the scholarship was Isabelle Leigh Hamilton of Sparta(not pictured). Other contestants were James Robert Batson, III - Steeleville, Lucas Nathaniel Doiron - Chester, Jessica Eugenia Stark - Coulterville, Alex D. Becker - Red Bud, Taylor Anna Schreiber - Marissa, Bailey Marie Witthoff - Trico, Elizabeth Adeline Koester - Christ Our Savior. All are pictured here with the Liberty Bell of the West Chapter members.

MARCH 29, 2016 TO BE VIETNAM VETERANS DAY IN RANDOLPH COUNTY

The Randolph County Commissioners and the Liberty Bell of the West Chapter, National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution are proclaiming March 29, 2016 as Vietnam Veterans Day. The official Proclamation will be signed at the County Board meeting on March 24, 2016.

This day of honor is set aside to assist in thanking our Vietnam War Veterans but especially those within our community and their families that made the ultimate sacrifice. On behalf of a grateful Nation, it is a privilege to present to you a tangible sign of our Nation's thanks and to honor you for your service, valor and sacrifice when our country needed you.

​Liberty Bell of the West Chapter NSDAR is a Commemorative Partner with the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration. Commemorative Partner participation is pivotal to reaching Vietnam veterans and their families on the local level.
